Breadth = 1.5m

Height = 6m

10 Km : 1 hr

10000m : 60 minutes

Therefore, 5000m : 30 minutes

Thus, length = 5000m

Now,

Volume of the canal = Area irrigated × Height

l × b × h = A × H

5000 × 1.5 × 6 = A × 8/100

A = 5000 × 1.5 × 6 × 100/ 8

A = 562500 m^2

Therefore, it will irrigate an area of 562500 m^2 of the field.
