Water in a canal, 30 dm wide and 12 dm deep, is flowing with a speed of 10km/hr. How much area will it irrigate in 30min, if 8cm of water is required for irrigation.​

it would be = 3m

samely for the height = 12dm

                                   = 120cm

                                    = 1.2 M

now we have to find the length of the cuboid we are given speed we will convert it into m by following l=30/60*100

                                                therefore length=50 km

                                                                            = 50000

next we will find the volume of water used for cuboid =50000*3*1.2

                                                                                            =180000

now finally  we can find the area of the field  8/100=180000

                                                                          =2250000 m2
