Water in a canal 6m wide and 1.5 m deep is flowing with a speed of 10Km per hour then how much area it will irrigate in 30 minutes if 8cm of standing water is needed

10×30/60=5km

widht and height is given in meter so 5000m

now here we have given height of field 8cm so it becomes 8/100m

l×b×h=(area of field)8/100

5000×1.5×6=(area of field) 8/100

45000×100/8=area of field

562500m^2=area of field

if ans has to given in hectares than 1 hectares is equal to 10000m^2 so answer became 56.25
