volume of the water coming out in 1hour of 6m wide and 1.5 deep with speed of  10km/hr (sp= 10*1000 m/hr)
=> 6*1.5*10000 = 90000 m3
and volume of the water coming out in 30 min
= 90000* 30/60
= 45000 m3
let the area irrigated be xm2
standing water height be h= 8cm = 8/100 = 0.08m
=> x*0.08 = 45000
x= 45000/0.08
x= 562500 m2
since 1 hectare = 10000 sq m
so the area irrigated = 56.25 hectare
