length = 10 km in one hr
for 30 min length = 10/2
length = 5 km = 5000 m
breadth = 6 m
height = 1.5 m
volume of canal = L × b × h
l×b×h = volume of cubiodal field
5000 × 6 × 1.5 = area × height
500 × 6 × 15 = area × 8/100
area = 45000 × 100/8
area = 4500000/8 metre squares

Answer: 562500 m²

Step-by-step explanation:

Depth = 1.5m

Width = 6m

Height of standing water = 0.08m in 30 minutes

Length of water column = 5km = 5000m

Volume of water in 30 minutes = 1.5 * 6 * 5000 = 45000m cube

Area = VOLUME / HEIGHT

= 45000/0.08

= 562500m²..........solution........

Hope you understood
