speed of water = 10km/h =10*1000/60 m/min
=500/3 m/min
amount of water flowing = 6*1.5*500/3=1500 cubicm/min
standing water needed =8cm=8/100m
Area will irrigate in 30min =
amount of water flowing/standing water needed
=1500*100/8*30
= 562500 sqm
=5.625 hectares
=500/3 m/min
amount of water flowing = 6*1.5*500/3=1500 cubicm/min
standing water needed =8cm=8/100m
Area will irrigate in 30min =
amount of water flowing/standing water needed
=1500*100/8*30
= 562500 sqm
=5.625 hectares
