Here, H=2m and    B=45m  But the formula also requires the length of the river accordingly to find the volume of the river.  We have, Rate of the flow of the water: 3KM, or, 3000m/60m   (because 3 km an hour and 1hour = 60minutes and we have been asked to represent how much water will run into PER MINUTE.)  =50m Length.  Now, the volume of river = distance covered. Hence= L×B×H I.e, 50×2×45= 4500m³
