in 30 mins water flows a distance of 1/2*10I'm=5000m or5km
volume of canal= lbh
= 6x1.5x5000 m^3
=45000m^3
if there a need of 8 cm standing then h= .08m
a^2x h=45000
area = 45000/.08
=5625000m^2
=56.25hectares
