water in a dish evaporates more quickly than in a bottle bcz surface area of the water spread on dish is more than that of water kept in bottle. rate of evaporation is directly proportional to surface area of water.

●Evaporation is a surface phenomena which results in cooling.
●As surface area increases, rate of EVAPORATION increases.
●In this case, water in dish evaporates faster as compared to water in bottle because dish surface area is greater than surface area of bottle so more Number of molecules will escape into atmosphere and thus increases the rate of EVAPORATION.
