Here is your answer

_______________

The heat of the sun makes the water evaporate from the oceans, Rivers, the lakes etc. The plants also add water vapour to it by the process of Transpiration ( A process by which extra amount of water is added to the atmosphere by the leaves in the form of water vapour). The warm and light vapour rise up in the air. They are carried towards the mountains by the wind and further rise up. On higher altitude condensation takes place and water vapour changes into clouds. When the clouds get heavier, They can't hold any more amount of water in the form of vapour and Precipitation occurs. The product of Precipitation ( Rain, Snow, hail etc.) Comes down to the earth by the force of gravity. The Rainwater partly flows over the surface of the earth as River, streams etc. and some seeps to the ground in the form of Ground water.
