Water is being pumped out through a circular pipe whose internal diameter is 8 cm. If the rate of flow of water is 80 cm/s, then how many litres of water is being pumped out through this pipe in one hour ?​

Length of flow of water in 1 sec = 80cm

In 1 hour = 80×60×60 = 288000cm

Volume of cylindrical pipe in 1 hour = 22/7r^2h

= 22/7×4×4×288000

= 101376000/7cm cubic unit

101376000/7×1000 =101376/7litre

In decimal = 14482.28litre (approx.)

101376000/7×100×100×100= 101.376/7litre cube

In decimal = 14.482 litre cube (approx.)
