Answer:

we have,

Radius of the circular pipe 7/2 cm

It is given that the water flows out at the rate of 12 cm/sec

Length of the water column flowing out in one second=12cm

Volume of the cylinder of radius 7/2 cm and length 12cm

 \\ v = \pi {r}^{2} h \\ = \frac{22}{7} \times ( { \frac{7}{2} })^{2} \times 12 \\ = \frac{22}{7} \times \frac{7}{2} \times \frac{7}{2} \times 12 \\ = 462 \: {cm}^{3} \\

Volume of water flowing out in one hour

 = 462 \times 3600 = 1663200 \: {cm}^{3} \\ = 1663.20 \: litre
