So Volume of water discharged is = speed of water flow x cross-section

so cross-section area (A) = 3.2 cm²

speed (S) = 5m/s = 500 cm/s

so A x S = 1600 cm³/sec

so the volume of water discharged in cm³/s = 1600 cm³/sec

so 1000 cm³ = 1 L

so 1600 cm³ = 1600/1000 = 1.6 L

so flow in L/s is 1.6 L /s

3.2 cm^2 = 0.032 m
water flowing in one second = 0.032*5
                                             = 0.16 m^3
1 second = 1/60 minute
1 m^3 = 1000 l
in 1/60 minute, 160 litre flow in the pipe
let x be the minute for the flow of water , then,
x*1/60 = 160
x/60 = 160
x = 160*60
 = 9600 l/min
hence the answer
hope it is right
