Water is the main source of life for both plants and animals. In waterless conditions plants survive by preventing the loss of water transpiration and did not open their stomata. Water is conserved in the different type of tissues so that the waterless condition can be prevented. Physiological, anatomical and morphological changes are adapted to minimise the damage which is caused by dry conditions.
