Water is filled up to same height in two identical closed containers a and b . Container a has vacuum over the water while container b has air over the water. At the same depth there is an opening on which identical balloons a and b are attached. Which balloon will bulge more ?

The idea here is that water will flow until there is an equalization between the balloon and the container.

Vacuum has no mass while air has a mass. therefore, more water needs to flow from the container with the vacuum in order to achieve pressure equalization.

Therefore, the balloon attached to the vacuum container will bulge more.
