Let the height of the cylindrical tank be H cm

Radius of a cylindrical tank =40cm

Radius of the circular pipe =4/2=2 cm

Speed of water flowing=7m/s

Volume of water in 30minutes sec

=πr²h30

=π*2*2*700*30*60cm³

Now,

Volume of the cylinder colour tank=volume of water in 30 minutes in the circular pipe

πR²H = =π*2*2*700*30*60

H=π *4*700*30*60/π* 40*

Therefore H = 6300/2cm

= 63/2 m

= 31.5m
