Answer:

31.5019 m

Step-by-step explanation:

As Given,

Diameter of Pipe = 4 cm

Radius of pipe = 4/2 cm = 2 cm

Velocity of water = 7 m/s = 700 cm/s

= > volume = \pi \: {r}^{2} \times rate \:=>volume=πr

2

×rate

=> V = 22/7 x 2 x 2 x 700

=> V = 8800 cm^3

As we know that,

=> 30 min = (30 x 60)s = 1800 s

=> Volume of water in 30 min or 1800s = 8800 x 1800

As we know that,

Volume of water in Tank = Volume of water flow in 30 min or 1800s

= > \pi \: {r}^{2} h = 8800 \times 1800=>πr

2

h=8800×1800

=> 22/7 x 40 x 40 x h = 8800 x 1800

=> 5028.58 x h = 15840000

=> h = 15840000/5028.58

=> h = 3150.19 cm

=> h = 3150.19/100 m = 31.5019 m
