Water is a pure compound, if it is distilled, and purified extensively, it wil not be a mixture because it contains only water molecules i.e. H2O.

Well it is general :

Such type of water, without no impurities can not ever exist. Because you know that dust particles which are too small to be seen are always suspended in the environment which can lead to water to be impure, not to the large extent but on a minute scale... Pure water without any impurities can be prepared in laboratory and can never be found in abundance in the environment
