Water is poured from a cuboidal container of dimensions 9 inches by 6 inches by 4 inches into a cylindrical container of radius 3 inches . assuming that water does not overflow the container , how many inches high will the water reach

the volume of the cuboidal container is 9 x 6 x 4

which is equal to 216 inchcube

from data volume of cuboidal container is equal to volume of the cylindrical container

therefore 216 is equal to πr^2h

216=(22/7)3×3×h

substituting for the value of h is equal to

216/9×7/22=h

24×7/22=h

168/22=h

84/11cm
