Answer:

Water left in tank is 0.17008 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Water is pumped from a cuboidal tank of dimensions 4m×3m×2m to an overhead tank has radius 60cm and height 80cm.

To find : The height of water left in tank?

Solution :

Radius of cylindrical tank = 60 cm =1 m

Height of the tank = 80cm=1.3 m

Length of tank = 4 m

Breadth of tank = 3 m

Height of tank= 2 m

Let water left in tank be ' W '.

According top question,

Volume of cylindrical tank = Volume of cuboid

\pi r^{2} h=L\times B\times H\times W

3.14\times 1\times 1\times 1.3=4\times 3\times 2\times W

4.082=24\times W

W=\frac{4.082}{24}

W=0.17008 m

Therefore water left in tank is 0.17008 m.
