water is tasteless but we taste different tastes of water in different places ?why?

Water has different taste in different places due to the presence of dissolved salts in different extents.
Water is tasteless in it's pure form. But it's the minerals present in them which provide taste to the water. Moreover, we pure water is not worth drinking because it can spoil our tooth enamel.

Because water is contaminated with impurities that adds good or bad taste to it, otherwise pure water is tasteless
