given increase in height of tank = 3.15 m

Therefore increase in 1 hour = 6.30 m

volume of pipe = volume of tank

π r² 2500 = π (4/10)² (6.30)

                r = 16x630/2500x100x100

                ∴ diameter of pipe = (8/5000) (√630) m
