Water is very important for plant growth. Why?

Water is used for transpiration carrier of nutrients from the soil to green plant tissues ad water contains many useful minerals

and also water is used by plants to prepare food by photosynthesis process


as it is used to prepare food and carry nutrients any organisms requires them for growth

Plants are very important for us in following ways -
(1) It gives us oxygen.
(2) It makes food by the process of photosynthesis.
(3) lt is very important for the survival of life on earth.
(4) It is the breathing lungs of the civilization.
(5) It is very important to maintain the ecological balance in nature.
(6) lt prevents floods and soil erosion.
(7) It's products provides livelihood to many people.
(8) Some of the products of plants are expoted hence, foreign reserves land.
(9) It reduces the surface runoff and binds the soil.
(10) It is responsible for rainfall.
