Recently, a group of workers dug up the underground pipes in order to replace them.
Ever since then, we have been facing issues with the sewage not being drained properly from our houses.
The situation has gotten so worse that the sewage is leaking and stagnating at certain places, making those places extremely foul smelling and a breeding nest for mosquitoes.
Adding to this folly, last week, the heavy rain caused the drainage to overflow on to the roads.
Also, the road was not properly laid after the replacement work was done.
As a result, we have a lot of potholes in which the water stagnates.
