Water of mass 200 g and temperature 30 °C is
taken in a copper calorimeter of mass 50 g
and temperature 30 °C. A copper sphere of
mass 100 g and temperature 100 °C is released
into it. What will be the maximum
temperature of the mixture? [c (water) =
1 cal/g.°C, C (copper) = 0.1 cal/g °C

pls solve it

Answer:

heat lost by copper sphere

heat lost by copper sphere=heat gained by water +heat gained by calorimeter

Explanation:

100(0.1)(100-x) = 200(1)(x-30)+50(0.1)(x-30)

1000 - 10x = 200x - 6000+5x -1500

215x=8500

x = 39.53
