  1. Destroys life in the water based ecosystem which is polluted which in turn disrupts natural food chain.
  2. Aquatic life is destroyed due to the non-biodegradable pesticides and chemicals.
  3. Water pollution affects the microbial population.

Water pollution is a major hazard because Everyone need water to drink and for household works . It contains harmful chemicals which come from industrial waste and from agricultural waste , which is not good for our health and for the animals living in water.
