Water pouring into a cuboidal reservoir at the rate of 60 litres per minute. If the volume of the reservoir is 108m.cu. Find the number of hours it will take to fill the reservoir. If the area of Base of cuboid is 24m.sq, find the height of the cuboid

we know ,
1 m³ = 1000 litres
so , volume of cuboid = 108 m³ = 108 × 1000 = 108000 litres
volume = 108000 litres
rate of flow of water in 1 minute= 60 litres
therefore , time it will take to fill whole reservoir = 108000/60 = 1800 minutes
since , 1 hr = 60 minutes
1 minute = 1/60 hours
=> 1800 minutes = 1800/60 = 30 hrs
volume = base area × height of cuboid
=> 108 m³ = 24 m² × height
=> 108 m³/ 24m² = height
=> 4.5 m = height of cuboid
hope this helps
