There are the steps to pure water :

sedimentation:

the process is which heavier insoluble particles are allowed to settle down is called sedimentation this method is used to separate heavy impurities likes and when impure water is allowed to stand having poverty settle down the solid impurities which settle down during sedimentation are called sediments the upper layer consists of clearwater which can be pulled into another container the liquid above the segment is called Supernatant

decantation:

the process of transferring the clear liquid after sedimentation into another container without disturbing the sediment is called decantation

filtration:

the process by which we separate the insoluble and suspended solids of various size of liquid using a filter is known as filtration of filter has force which separate the solid components from a liquid the size of the holes in the filter is decided according to the size of particles which are to be separated from the liquid the method of filtration is commonly used in our homes for example after making tea filter out the leaves using a strainer that it is told through which is fitted with a wire mesh the tea leaves are retained on the stamina while the liquid it passes through the wire mesh up into the CUP

Boiling:

the process of converting a liquid vapour by heating is called evaporation (Boiling) evaporation take place continuously Where water is present
