sin∅=height/hypotenuse

Given , hypotenuse =8cm

sin45°=height/8cm

1/√2=h/8cm

=h=8/√2cm

=h=8/√2*√2/√2cm

=h=8*√2/2cm

=h=4*√2cm

=h=4*1.414

=h=5.656cm.
