• Excessive use of water:-Excessive use of water in agriculture makes the sources of water like rivers,lakes and underground water dry leads to water scarcity.


• Unequal access of water:-Clean fresh water is the basic necessity for all .If wateris not equally distributed it leads to scarcity for some people who do not have access For example -excessive use of water by industries and agriculture limits domestic need of people.
