Answer:i have written a really long answer.u can just find the points ur looking for and use it :)

Explanation:Water scarcity is a problem which many people are not aware of. A few reasons behind ignorance of the people about the serious issue is stated below- • People hold the notion that there is available water in their surroundings. And hence they are not economical in the usage of water. But the fact is that surface water evaporates and it returns to earth as rainfall. But rainfall does not pour down in the same area from where the water is evaporating, the real threats lies in this uneven distribution of water. But people are yet to realising this fact. • Another cause of water scarcity is the wrong urban civilization and technology. The big industries, as well as the flats and apartment, are using boring to fetch groundwater. A large amount of water is used in these industries and apartments. There is no proper water management system and for this, the level of groundwater is sinking day by day. • People are yet to be aware of rainwater preservation or to limited re-use of water, and limited collection and treatment of wastewater, and because of this a large amount of fresh water is daily used by domestic use. In countries like India, China with a growing population this is becoming a big threat. • There is a concept named virtual water. We are yet to make acquainted ourselves with this concept. Virtual water stands for the hidden use of water while food beverages in such items are traded. In developing countries like India virtual water is also adding fuel to the water scarcity. A large amount of virtual water is exported from the country each day. I think we are definitely turning a blind eye to the global water crisis. We are extremely dependent on assuming that we have an ‘unlimited’ amount of water. But surely, we have limited days that our habits will survive. Many people choose to ignore the issue because water is a renewable resource. But we are just being ignorant, will the evaporated water that eventually becomes rainfall, pour down on the same area? Uneven distribution is a real threat. However, I believe that it is never too late to take small steps and make a huge difference.
