water storage tank is in the form of a cube. when it is full of water the volume of water is 15.625m3.if it's present depth is 1.2m find volume of water used from the tank and also find its ratio with the volume of remaining water in the tank

since it is a cube, volume = edge x edge x edge
15.625 = edge cube
edge = 2.5 mts

now depth is 1.2 mts
so, it is a cuboid now so,volume is L x B x H
L = 2.5 mts
B =2.5 mts
H =1.2 mts

volume remaining = 7.5 meter cube

used volume = 15.625 - 7.5
                     = 8.125 meter cube
RATIO
volume of water used : volume of water remaining
                         8.125 : 7.5
                           1.08 : 1.00
