Answer:

Correct Answer is: (1) 4.4 × 10–5 m3/sec The velocity of efflux of water is

v = √(2 g ) = √(2 x 9.8 m / s2 x 10m) = 14 m/s

The rate of flow of water is

= A × v = πr2 × v =

3.14 × (1×10–3 m)2 × 14 m/sec

= 4.4 × 10–5 m3/se
