Hey friend here is your answer.
It is from poem RIME OF ANCIENT MARINER .
It means that the mariners were in such condition that they didnt have water to drink even if they were surrounded by water but it was sea water.

this questions ans is water of sea - sea is very large than any lake or river but sea water not for drink
