Given :  water waves in the sea are observed to have a wavelength of 500 m and frequency of 0.02 Hertz

To Find : the speed of the wave

Solution :

wave velocity = wavelength  * frequency

wavelength = 500 m

frequency = 0.02 Hz

=> wave velocity = 500 * 0.02

=> wave velocity = 10  m/s

speed of the wave   is  10 m/s
