Answer:

All three A,B,C take 3.6 hrs to build the shed.

Payment : A - 363.6, B- 272.8, C- 363.6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Mason A takes 12 hrs to build a shed

Mason B takes 9 hrs to build a shed

Mason C takes 12 hrs to build a shed

Payment for the total job = 1000

Solution :

1. In one hr A finishes = 1/12 of shed

                    B finishes = 1/9 of shed

                    C finishes = 1/12 of shed

             If all together work = 1/12 + 1/9 + 1/12

                                             = 10/36 of shed

∴   10/36 of shed work takes 1 hr

        1 shed work = 1 *36/10

                             = 3.6 hrs

2. Payment of 1000 distribution A:B:C = 12 : 9 : 12

    A payment = 1000* 12/33

                       = 363.6

   B payment = 1000 * 9/33

                      =  272.8

   C payment = 1000* 12/33

                       = 363.6
