Placentation is actually a sexual process which is found in both the animals and the plants. in case of plants the placentation is the arrangement of the placenta in the ovary of the flowers of the plants.

in case of water melon the main part of the fruit is composed of the placenta tissue and when we are eating the watermelon, we are actually eating placenta.
