2dsinθ = nλ

for first order reflection, n = 1

here wavelength, λ = 0.581 A° = 0.581 × 10¯¹⁰ m

reflection at angle , θ = 6° 27'

so 2 × d × sin(6° 27') = 0.581 × 10¯¹⁰

⇒2 × d × 0.11236 = 0.581 × 10¯¹⁰

⇒d = 2.585 × 10¯¹⁰ m ≈ 2.6 × 10¯¹⁰ m

Therefore the d(100) = d = 2.6 × 10¯¹⁰ m
