The stationary wave or the standing wave, in which when two two vibrating particles are there in a same loop then they will show the same phase.

  • In the stationary wave we cannot change the energy of the node point from point to another.
  • Therefore no change in the energy, that's why they remain in the same phase as for changing the loop there is the requirement of the energy to change the phase.
  • But in the stationary wave the energy remain same.
