Answer:

C) 15 km

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance traveled by Harry = 50Km

Time taken = 10 hours

So, Speed = distance/time = 60km / 10 hours

Speed = 6 km/hr

Let the Distance travelled by foot at a speed 3Km/hr be x km.

Time taken = Distance/speed

= (x)/3

So, distance travelled by car at a speed of 9km/hr = 60 - x

Time taken = Distance/speed

= (60-x)/9

So, Total Time taken = 10 hours

(x)/3 + (60-x)/9 = 10

( 3x + 60 - x )/9 = 10

2x + 60 = 90

2x = 30

x = 15

So, Distance travelled by Foot is 15 Km

and Distance travelled by car is 60-15 = 45 Km.

Thanks!
