hi friend
here's your answer looking for

to answer your question let me tell you first that,
the magnet is already magnetized, so, it need not be magnetized more.

but we can magnetized other magnetic things by the following steps:-

step 1 => take any iron piece.

step 2=> stroke the magnet over it many times.

step 3=> after doing that we will observe that, that iron piece get magnetized.

this is because, when we stroke the magnet over the iron piece, then the domains of iron get stable in a one direction or a particular direction that created the magnetic field around it.

so because of this that iron piece get magnetized by stroking the piece of magnet.

hope you are satisfied with my answer

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER

There are several ways of magnetizing a piece of metal. Of all the metals, iron is the most useful magnetized metal used by most of the industries and companies.

There are two ways of magnetizing an iron piece. Follow the steps to magnetize an iron piece:

→ Take an iron piece and place it horizontally parallel to the ground. Take a piece of magnet and start rubbing it against the metal piece in a single direction as shown in the attached file above. Repeat the process for about 45 - 50 times.
Due to alignment of the domains of the iron in the north-south direction due to the influence of the magnetic field lines, the iron piece gets magnetized.

→ Take an iron nail and attach two wires on the either ends of the nail. Connect both the ends with the -ve and the +ve terminals of the battery respectively.
Due to the aligned flow of the electrons and due to the existance of Right Hand Thumb rule, the iron nail gets magnetized.
[Try the solenoid* method** if this method does not work.]

{*Solenoid is basically a type of magnet which consists of a wire coiled on a cylinder filled with soft iron core.}
**Solenoid method is the method in which a an insulated copper wire is coiled on the iron nail and both the ends of the wire are connected to the respective terminals of the battery.

The magnets made by passing the electricity throught them are knows as the Electromagnets.

mark it as brainliest if you feel so.......
hope it helps . . . . .
