Let the initial velocity is 'u', since it starts falling therefore value of
u is 0.
Height 'h' is given to us equal to 80m.
We consider gravitational acceleration in the case of object in vertical motion whose value we take as 9.8 ≈10m/s^2.
We now apply 2nd equation of motion in vertical to find out time.
h= ut + (gt^2)/2
80 = (0)(t) + {(10)(t^2)}/2
80 = 0 + 5 t^2
t^2 = 80/5
t^2 = 16
t = √16
t = 4 sec Answer
