Monsieur hamel made this comment because when Franz was not able to answer the question asked by monsieur hamel he was sad and he blamed all the citizen of alsace that they have not focus on their language and they have not ever tried to learn this language and now when they do not have a chance to learn the language , that time they are regretting for learning their language
