We all love these little guys.But some of them can get scarily massive . What is the largest penguin of them all?

Emperor PenguinThe Emperor Penguin (Aptenodytes forsteri) is the tallest and heaviest of all living penguin species and is endemic to Antarctica. The male and female are similar in plumage and size, reaching 122 cm (48 in) in height and weighing from 22 to 45 kg (49 to 99 lb).

The largest penguin in the world that has been discovered till date is Aptenodytes forsteri, also known as the Emperor penguin.


It is found in Antarctica and is probably the heaviest and tallest of all the existing penguins in the world.


Height: 122cm

Weight: 22-45kg

Male and female are similar in size and weight.
