because when we put hot tea in saucer .then it surface area increase and it became cool in saucer faster then cup.

We are able to sip hot tea faster from a saucer rather than a cup because the rate of evaporation increases with the increase in surface area.Since, a saucer has more surface area as compared to a cup ,therefore evaporation occur at a muCH faster rate in the saucer causing the tea to cool quickly.
