this is bcoz a saucer has more surface area than a cup.. wid increase in surface area the rate of cooling down of tea increases.. since a saucer has more surface area than a cup, hence the rate of cooling down of tea is more in saucer than in a cup bcoz of which we r able to sip tea faster throught a saucer rather than a cup...
