the cup has less surface area than saucer and as rate of evaportion decreases with decrese in surface area as a result which decreses the cooling effect...cooling effect increases with increase in evaporation and vice versa....

Answer:because there is an increase In the surface area.

Explanation: We know that evaporation is a surface phenomenon. Thus, when the surface area increases the rate of evaporation increases which makes the tea less hot and easy to drink from saucer than a cup
