f= +20

using lens formula:

1/v -1/u= 1/f

1/v= 1/f+ 1/u

1/v= 1/20-1/55

1 \div v = (55 - 20) \div 1100

 = 35 \div 1100

 = 7 \div 220

v= 220/7 = 31.42

m= -v/u

m= -31.4/-55

m= 0.57

since m<1 the size of the image is diminished and the positive sign in magnification indicates that it is real ans inverted.
