1/v= 1/f+ 1/u
1/v= 1/20-1/55
v= 220/7 = 31.42
m= -v/u
m= -31.4/-55
m= 0.57
since m<1 the size of the image is diminished and the positive sign in magnification indicates that it is real ans inverted.
