Answer:

In my opinion, a great nation is one that promotes freedom and liberty, protects the nation and its citizens, keeps its government small, has a extremely powerful defensive military (no standing army, reserves only, navy and air force at powerful strength), strong borders, an easy and welcoming immigration policy, no federal or state income tax (all taxes would be collected via consumption tax limited at no more than 20% and an exemption on raw food), no government subsidies (the navy or air force will have the man power and facilities to make or build all that is needed by the government), it protects the environment, not because of global warming, but because it's the right thing to do, without over regulation, driving is a right, electricity (not to include commercial businesses) is a right, water is a right, hunting and fishing are rights, rights can not be taxed, no laws would be made in the preventive way, all crimes committed must have a victim which harm to person or property was clearly caused, no proabition on anything (my body my right), no public schools (all private, with vouchers for those that can't afford), all entitlements will earn livable wages, but for a very short time period, a free market healthcare system, much like a combination of Kiser+7/11+Walmart = an affordable healthcare system act (the AHSA), we own our land (no property tax (only the sales tax of the house is paid), no more than 20,000 people per square mile. I'm sure I'll think of more, but I'm sure I can go on for ever. I don't know if this place exists, but if you know of it, let me know, I'm moving like now!
