we are living in an area where there is plenty of rainfall, yet there is shortage of water. Why ?

Rainfall is not always pure it can be an acid rain sometime.
We need fresh water 2 do things.
3% of fresh water on our earth only.
Rest is saline water.

some areas there is plenty of rainfall yet there is shortage of water because of the water cannot be stored in These areas that can be done by an in water harvesting as there is a very fast surface water runoff present over there such as the countries like Japan if you she it they are having very large times for surface water and of which movie in rainfall occurs they stole some water and leaves or other water so that their could not be a condition of Tsunami of flood
